"My favorite thing about eHelpdesk has not much to do with the helpdesk. It does everything we want it to do. My favorite thing about eHelpdesk is the company and individuals behind the product. They are awesome. They treat each of their customers as friends and family."

GroupLink Gives BackAt GroupLink we care about the education our children are obtaining. We know that IT professionals can provide proper tools and enable students to excel in academic achievement and succeed in their personal lives. Understanding this principle GroupLink wants to give back. GroupLink is proud to announce our GL gives back to K-12 program. Announcing October's winner for GroupLink Gives Back: We are proud to announce that Winfield School District 34 has been selected as the winner of GroupLink Gives back for the month of October. Here is an excerpt from the nomination, submitted by Robert Schmidt, Network Engineer, Winfield School District 34: "Winfield School District 34 is a small school district with 400 students and 250 workstations. The system is maintained by two part-time Network Administrators. Due to its size, Winfield's technology budget barely covers the cost of software licensing and backend upgrades and all workstations have been donated from the local community college. The network uses Novell Netware and supporting software such as Groupwise and ZenWorks. Due to the limited in-district time available for each Network Administrator, communication between the admins is essential. Initially, support requests were handled by shared email folders. When the school outgrew that solution, a few open source/freeware applications were tried but were not adequate. A more integrated solution is needed to ensure that the part-time administrators are utilizing all of the current workstation information and machine history to maintain their network efficiently." everything HelpDesk will be a great help to Winfield School District. With the implementation of this solution, Winfield School District will be able to have an integrated help desk, as well as a solution to track issues which should greatly increase service levels in this organization. Stay tuned for the November Winner. Don't forget to nominate a deserving district for December! Previous Winner:
